ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Sophie – I love humans and believe deeply in our individual and collective power. I’m a storyteller, certified coach and philanthropic + impact advisor dedicated to helping people reach their greatest and most expansive potential.

For the past 10+ years, I’ve worked with artists and business leaders to expand their impact by creating campaigns, crafting collaborations and conversations, and deploying millions of dollars to grassroots organizations focused on gender and racial equity, civic engagement, democracy and environmental protection, criminal justice reform, gun violence prevention and political advocacy. My work has been featured in TIME, Teen Vogue, NowThis, The Hill, Hollywood Reporter, Bustle, Billboard and the Instagram pages of influencers and artists like Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Quavo and Demi Lovato.

I began my career leading communications and partnership for Sean Penn’s Haitian Relief Organization following the 2010 earthquake. I went on to build OMG WTF, an organization helping Gen Z and Millennial voters understand how government works, where I lead innovative fundraising campaigns for political leaders like Stacey Abrams and Gretchen Whitmer. Before retiring my fundraising hat, I helped raise over $25M for nonprofits and political candidates, and during the 2020 election, I was part of a team that helped mobilize over $70M to grassroots organizations.

After years spent executing other people’s very big visions, I found myself playing small and avoiding my own big dreams. Death and grief really brought me into this work – losing many people I love in rapid succession had me confronting that I, too, am going to die. In fact, we all are. It is the one thing I can guarantee is going to happen to us all. And for me, that integration – the confronting of my own mortality – has taught me how to live. The truth is, we are all grieving. The world has continued to rapidly change. As we individually and collectively grieve realities and versions of life that are gone in an instant, we get to explore who we are, what we want to create and the reality we want to live in.

I became a coach to have more impact and help you live your most expansive and meaningful life.

I believe our humanity, vulnerability, joy and resilience is the stuff of greatness and we all deserve to live a life we really love.

I currently live in Los Angeles, and spend as much time in New York or in warm bodies of water as possible. I’m a proud graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University.
